Satrang Journeys is a premium, people-centered travel company founded in 2025 by a close-knit group of family and friends who share a passion for meaningful travel, cultural connection, and thoughtful hospitality.

We take pride in extending the warmth of Punjabi hospitality, ensuring that every journey is delivered with sincerity, care, and attention to detail. Our aim is simple — to create journeys that are not only well managed, but genuinely meaningful.

What Does "Satrang" Mean?

The name “Satrang” reflects our philosophy that travel should reveal both the true essence of a place and the rich spectrum of experiences it offers.

In Punjabi, “Satrang” refers to seven colors coming together in harmony — a reflection of diversity, connection, and shared experience. We also associate the name with discovering the “true colors” of culture, heritage, and human connection through travel.

Our initial focus is on pilgrimage and heritage journeys across Pakistan, particularly for Sikh diaspora communities from around the world. We specialize in small-group, carefully managed journeys that allow for personalized attention, comfort, flexibility, and a dignified travel experience. We understand that many travelers may be visiting Pakistan for the first time. Our approach therefore emphasizes thoughtful planning, trusted local support, comfort, and clear communication throughout the journey.

Falak Naz Khalid

Dedicated Healthcare Professional

Ms. Khalid is our resident, dedicated healthcare professional with over 35 years of experience in nursing, midwifery, and maternal and child health services. She is first-aid certified, and will be present throughout our trips as our first point of contact so that we can travel with peace of mind.

Samina Zafar (Maryam)

Founder (Pakistan)

Based in Pakistan, Maryam is a multidisciplinary artist with over 30 years of creative practice. Having lived across three continents, she brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation of Punjabi culture and heritage. Her long-standing commitment to community service and cultural understanding helps shape the authentic, thoughtfully planned journeys that define Satrang Journeys.

Usman Shakeel

Managing Director

Usman Shakeel is a Pakistani musician, vocalist, percussionist, and community facilitator. He is also a leading member of the acclaimed Pakistani band Saakin. Usman is actively involved in curating cultural and experiential events across Pakistan, collaborating with travel agencies to create immersive experiences that bring together music, community, travel, and place.

Rajinder Singh

Tour Guide

Rajinder Singh is a Lahore-based religious guide and cultural heritage professional with extensive experience in Sikh heritage and pilgrimage tourism. From 2016 to 2018, he served as a Gayni/Granthi at Bebey Nanki Janam Asthaan with the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC), ETPB, Lahore. Since 2018, he has worked with Idara Har Sukh Ilm O Fun as an assistant to Dr. Beena Jawad, while also working as a freelance tour guide for Sikh religious tours.
